Mission Statement:

The Tech Reuse program is dedicated to providing affordable, licensed, and guaranteed computer systems to charities, non-profits and underprivelaged people. We also are working to help protect the environment with our zero landfill policy (See below).

TechReuse has refurbished and distributed over 2,000 computer systems and 70,000 pieces of computer equipment since 2005 to charities, not-for-profit organizations and underprivelaged people in our commmunity.  Over 1,000 families and 100 charities have benefited from our program since 2005.

We accept donations of reuseable computer equipment from Ottawa and the surrounding areas. We also accept drop-offs of donations at our location: 1040 Somerset St W, Ottawa, ON on Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. Donations can cost money if they are not reuseable to our clients. Therefore, there are fees for donations of older equipment. Check out our Donations page(link) for more details.

Policies:

Zero Landfill Policy: All electronics donated to us will be assessed for reuse, if any equipment cannot be  reused, it will be sent to our related partners who have responsible recycling facilities to  ensure proper disposal.  

 30-Day Warranty: Our 30-Day Warranty comes with each computer system and includes support and full replacement if something happens to your system.
